About HRSC

Hindu Religious Service Centre (HRSC) is a socio-cultural-religious organization of Hindus in Uganda. HRSC is wedded to the ideal of service to the Ugandan nation and rendering service for all communities in Uganda.

HRSC is the service arm of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) which was started in Nairobi in 1947. HSS is an organization, which aims at promoting the well-being of the local society by inspiring its members to serve. Inculcation of discipline in members is the most important part of the training in HSS. Currently, HSS has members as young as five years to ninety years old.

HRSC is a Socio-Cultural and Religious institution of Hindus. It has a managing committee comprising of Trustees, Chairman, Vice-Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and six committee Members who regularly monitor all the activities.

HRSC has received significant donations from various communities, individual donors, and Sewa International. This funding has enabled HRSC to establish an endowment fund and continue the service programs.
